A Rare & Beautiful 120 Year Old Victorian Antique Mahogany Extending Dining Table. Made in England during the reign of Queen Victoria in around 1900 to a lovely standard. With lovely Demi lune ends with built in additional leave stored within. Raised upon beautiful tapering squared legs with spade feet. Made to lovely proportions it will stand proud in any room.
The mahogany has a wonderful colour and pleasing rich patina created over the last 160 years. A lovely piece of English history that’s bursting with charm.
Worth buying even just as an investment or store of wealth. As expected with age some wear and tear from use. The table has some wear including marks and knocks and losses to veneer. The heavy table top is detached from the base which makes for easier moving. The base is quite lightweight and relatively flimsy compared with the table too but once the top is screwed to the base it all locks quite nicely together. A general tidy up with be nice with this piece.
